2017 Fresno A's

The Fresno A’s of BBR summer college team just won the Western Qualifier in San Diego (in quite a stunner; they were the lowest ranked team to be invited and the lowest seed out of pool play to ever win it) to advance to the NBC World Series in Wichita, KS. To our knowledge no other Fresno based summer college team has ever received a bid to the 84 year old NBC World Series, which is the oldest and biggest summer college tournament around.

Thank you to our two major sponsors who, without them, our young men would not be able to represent us in Wichita:

McCormick Barstow
Tony and Lori DeMaria of La Jolla

We would also like to thank Davis Moreno Construction who provided player housing.

The team has several players who came through the ranks of Bullard Cal Ripken and/or Bullard Babe Ruth and now play college baseball:

Alec DeMaria (BCR/BBR from 4 years old on)
Brandon Hepp (BCR/BBR from 4 years old on)
Travis Barrett (BCR/BBR from 6 years old on)
Anthony Ward (BBR since 16)
Alex Serna (BBR since 14)
Elijah Parks (BBR since 17)
Isaiah Daniels (BBR since 17)

Congratulations Fresno A’s!
